Historical role play - civil war in Denmark

Do you want to be a part of the Danish history? The civil war in Denmark in the 1530's is arranged as a role play. The last civil war in Denmark broke out after the death of Frederik I in 1533. This is when the religious battle between Catholics and Protestants is vigorous, and groups in society fight for power.

The participants represent the different groups of society. There are the citizens of Copenhagen, who want trade monopoly and reformation of the church. There are the catholic bishops, who fight reformation. There are the nobles, who always seek to increase their power. There are the peasants, who are tired of the nobles' exploitation. Malmø and Lübeck are supporting Copenhagen, while Sweden supports the nobles. Frederik I's son Duke Christian is positioning himself to be the king.
