Go on a historical walking tour in Copenhagen. History Tours arranges sightseeing walking tours and events in Copenhagen. Each walking tour focuses on a particular period of the history of Copenhagen. During the walking tours you will be taken into the life of the city in that period. Historian Christian Holm Donatzky will tell about the look of the city and the people of city. On the historical sightseeing walking tours you will hear about the role of the places and buildings in the history of Copenhagen and Scandinavia.

History Tours’ schedule June-August 2020, tours in English:
Saturdays at 10 am from Højbro Plads:
June: Copenhagen 1000-1600 – The Old City
July: Copenhagen 1600-1800 – Royal City
August: Copenhagen 1800-2020 – Hans Christian Andersen
Meeting place: Højbro Plads at the equestrian statue of Bishop Absalon next to Gammel Strand Metro Station.
The walking tours last approx. 1½ hours. The price is DKK 100 / € 15 per person. Booking is not necessary.
The tours on 6 and 13 June are cancelled due to the Covid-19-situation. The season for tours in English begins on 20 June.
